Kaze ("we") is a Slack-based running assistant and coaching service operated by an independent developer. This policy describes what data Kaze processes, why, and the choices you have. Kaze only processes data of members who explicitly connect an account — there is no passive collection.

With your explicit OAuth consent, we ingest from the sports service you connect (e.g. Strava, COROS, Garmin):
Solely to operate the service for you and your running group inside your Slack workspace: activity sharing cards, leaderboards, challenges, team journeys, coaching feedback, weekly/monthly summaries and training-safety alerts. We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not build profiles for any purpose beyond coaching.

Coaching text is generated with the help of a third-party large-language- model provider. Only the training metrics needed for the specific response (e.g. recent distances, paces, heart-rate zones, weather) are sent for processing; credentials and account identifiers are never included. Model providers are not permitted to use this data for training.

Data is stored in an encrypted cloud database, isolated per user. OAuth tokens are held as encrypted secrets, never logged and never shown to other members. All data is transferred over TLS.

Data is retained while your account stays connected, to support long-term training trends. Disconnect at any time with the in-app disconnect command — your access credentials are deleted immediately and ingestion stops. To have your historical data fully deleted as well, email the address above; we complete deletion within 30 days.

Kaze interacts only with services you or your club explicitly chose: Slack (message delivery), the sports platform you connected (data source, under its own privacy policy), a public weather data source, and the AI provider described in §4. We never share your data with anyone else.

You can: see what the coach remembers about you (profile card) and delete individual notes; disconnect at any time; request a copy or full deletion of your data by email. Since all processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any moment with immediate effect.

Kaze is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly process their data.

Material changes will be announced in the club's Slack workspace before they take effect; the date above always reflects the current version.
